This route is more or less the little brother of doing 5 and 5, but instead it is 4 and 4. There is one major reason why you would want to run this route over the CNL, and that is because you do get a nice break to get water in the middle of it. That is about the only reason why I can fathom ever running this route. Maybe you were in the mood for running 5 and 5 but your run suddenly got cut short just before you started? Or, more likely, you just want to not be dehydrated because you are running in Florida after all.
To hit this route, all you have to do is start with some route that nets you 4 miles on the Forest Meadows side. After that, go to Maclay Gardens and do an extended Top Loop and a regular Top Loop
