Review
I love when routes encompass only one loop. No, seriously. It makes the runs go by so much quicker when I do not have to worry about where or when I need to do my next loop – I just need to follow my one loop until my run is over. There is only one 6 mile route that consists of only one loop: the Cashin Turn Early.
Like all of the other routes that consist of only one major loop, the trails are of impeccable quality and need little analysis. What makes this route appealing is just how easy it is. The most strenuous part of this loop is the hill part of the Cash-in Loop. Other than that, you can just embrace the big flat trails guiding you for most of the loop.
This loop is a member of the Cashin focused family of routes, along with the Cashin + Half, CNL, and Two Cashins. All of these routes have the same core tendencies: long flat stretches, wide calm trails, and an overall easy to run and follow nature. I don’t know if you can infer by my commentary or not, but I love myself a Cashin Loop. If I am in the mood for just grinding out some long, easy mileage, nothing is a true workhorse like the Cashin.
This is the shortest distance that can be primarily accomplished via a Cashin Loop, and it shares all the benefits of a Cashin focused route. You will receive your easy mileage, and in return you will dedicate yourself to the Cashin Loop.
