This route should only ever be run under very specific circumstances. You need to stay on the Phipps Park side of the trail but want to avoid serious elevation. This seems counter intuitive to me, if I wanted an easy 10-mile route, I would probably include some section on the Maclay Gardens side, but you probably have your reasons.
This route is incredibly like doing 2 Cashins, because it is doing 2 Cashins with one Soccer Field at the end. If you want my opinion on doing 2 Cashins, read that, and then pretend you are doing a singular Soccer Field at the end, and you will have a decent idea of what this route is like. You are welcome for the in-depth description and nuanced account of the complexities of such a unique and intriguing route.
